Immploy connects employers with immigrant talent to foster economic prosperity.   The Immploy Mentorship program brings together immigrant job seekers with local mentors in their field to gain a better understanding of the regional job market; establish valuable networking contacts; and learn more about sector-specific language and professional practice in Canada.  

Immploy Mentorship programs welcomed two new Champions in recent months.   Advanced Composites Training joined us as a Corporate Champion, and Hyde Park Business Association was welcomed as an Association Champion.

Celebrating over 100 mentorship matches made in 2016-2017 and the highest number of annual matches in the program’s history, Immploy Mentorship thanks the many contributions of our volunteer mentors and the Corporate/Association Champions that have helped us achieve this milestone.

The London Middlesex Immigrant Employment Council (LMIEC) launches its new Immploy brand at TechConnect on May 4, 2017.   TechConnect is an annual event organized by TechAlliance and Immploy to bring together top newcomer talent with industry leaders in the tech sector.  The tech sector in this region is growing rapidly and actively hiring.  With tools available to support this emerging demand for specialized talent, Immploy is proud to launch our new brand at TechConnect.

The Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council and the Ontario Nonprofit Network have come together to deliver a training for non-profit leaders in various communities across Ontario.

The training program is designed to support non-profit leaders in taking action to build inclusive workplaces.  

The deadline to apply is August 12, 2016.

We presently have 50 talented newcomer professionals seeking a mentor in their fields and commensurate employment.   Industries represented include engineering, finance, tech, life sciences, research and sales.  

London is joining with cities across Canada to welcome Syrian newcomers.      As one step in the process of getting settled into London and surrounding communities, Syrian newcomers will be seeking employment opportunities.
